Hey! If you’re reading this, that probably means you’re somewhat interested in what I have to say. Well, thanks! I appreciate it!
I’ve actually wanted to start a blog for a while now, ever since I’ve started working on more long-term personal projects. When writing the pages on the portfolio section of my website, I found myself struggling to get everything in there. I had to be concise enough to keep people engaged, but thorough enough to show that I actually know what I’m talking about. Cover everything I’ve done in the project, but also only highlight the important parts. It was a nightmare! So, now that I’ve graduated from college (it still feels weird saying that), I figured what better time to start than right now?
So what exactly can you expect from this blog? Well, it’s on my portfolio website, so expect a lot of game development updates. As I continue work on and start new personal projects, I’ll be talking about them here, whether it’s simple progress updates, project retrospectives, cool new features, or just something I find neat. Beyond that, this is also going to be a sort of personal blog where I talk about other things related to video games I find interesting. Think reviews for new games I’m playing, or reflections on old games that have had an impact on me as a developer (yes, this is all just an excuse for me to write an essay on Chapter 10 of Fire Emblem: Conquest. If you know, you know).
If any of that sounds interesting, then check back to see more! I plan on posting regularly, likely bi-weekly on Mondays. But if I find myself itching to make more posts, that might become every week (o on a different day, haha). Who knows!? Regardless, I hope you stick around 🙂
